TFT conducts around 40 speaking engagements each year and visits churches, Bible colleges, conferences and events across the UK and Ireland.

We are fully aware of the sensitivities around issues of faith and sexuality and always seek to speak with both grace and truth. All our speakers are also personally impacted in some way by the topic of same-sex attraction and can, therefore, share their personal stories and experience.

Typical speaking events

Our speakers come from a range of denominational backgrounds and are available to speak at a variety of events and institutions including:

• Youth groups
• Student events

We speak throughout the UK and Ireland. Occasionally, we speak further afield too.

Topics

Please feel free to suggest a title and topic. We specialise in speaking on same-sex attraction, but we can also speak on related topics such as singleness, intimacy and biblical friendship. We are also able to speak on gender, but we currently are unable to provide a speaker with personal experience of gender incongruence.

Availability

Normally we suggest booking a speaker around 3-4 months in advance, to ensure availability. If you are not able to do this, however, we will try our best to accommodate all enquiries.  

What is the cost?

There is no formal charge to have a speaker visit. We do ask that, where possible, our speakers' travel and accommodation expenses are covered. Further gifts towards to work of TFT are welcome, but are entirely at the venues discretion.
